The Van Zandt County ESD 4 was established in 2015 by a district-wide vote.  The Van County ESD 4 Commissioners are appointed by the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court.

The Mission of Van Zandt ESD 4 is to be the leading emergency service district by meeting the needs of our community in fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency medical response in the most cost effective manner possible.


The Vision of Van Zandt County ESD 4 is to utilize and improve the skills and dedication of our staff and volunteers and to constantly improve operations and services for the citizens of Van Zandt county.
